Back in Pudong

After the biking adventures in Shenzhen & Singapore, it was back to familiar territory. In warm sunny weather (about 12 C), two friends and I covered about 32 km in Pudong's countryside. Again, everywhere we saw signs of the rapid changing environment, ranging from huge office buildings or factories, to highways and bridges going uprooting villages.
I feel all this biking is starting to pay off; last week I went for a full physical check-up and got a clean bill of health. And it's not just that; biking is truly enjoyable. You see things you wouldn't from a car, and you simply cover more ground than walking.

No, not a desert, but a large piece of land making room for Pudong's unstoppable development. Not sure why they left that little house.
