I had biked to Shanghai's east coast several times, the section between Longdong & Huaxia Rds. Today I ventured further north, along the coast until I hit a massive construction site, which the guard told me is the beginning of WaiGaoQiao, a huge container port with several terminals. The guard wouldn't let me go any further, so I descended down the dike past hundreds of water melon greenhouses. I then followed Renmintang Rd through the green trees; a a nice natural landscape indeed. The trip took nearly 3 hours in beautiful 26C degree weather; burned my arms red!
