Many expats go by car from home to the office, and then back, but seldom get to see the real China. I enjoy biking in the Pudong (Shanghai) countryside, through small towns and villages. A few months ago, I came upon this old Catholic church. Homes all around this church were being demolished to make way for new office and apartment buildings, but it appears that the church was going to be preserved.
