Magic Moment

I immediately pulled over with my car, got out, jumped a fence and snapped away when the sky turned yellow and a dark cloud hid the sun but not its rays. Unfortunately all I had at my disposal was my iPhone...
The towers you see (in Lujiazui, see previous post) are about 12 km away.

Lujiazui Financial District, Pudong

Finally the promised pics. Below is the Oriental Pearl Tower in Lujiazui disctrict.

Jinmao Tower (world's 4th tallest, where I work) and the World Financial Building, which will be 492 m tall. Check here for a list of all the world's skyscrapers and diagrams of the top 10.

And then an attempt of a 360-degree pic of the heart of Lujiazui. I recently read that Lujiazui already has more skyscrapers than Manhattan. Didn't come out very well; I'll have to try again some day. In Canon's Stitch software, you can keep going around in a circular motion.
